 Without Warning...
It was really a relaxing evening at the beach today. The breeze was quite cold...and the tides were quite low when compared to previous months...I was walking along the shore, wettin my legs on the water...Was walking quite long along the shore...I wonder how this lovely water can turn into vicious monster tsunami...Even mother nature has her own dark side. It was really a bad time when tsunami came...

It all started one fine sunday morning to remember the exact date it was dec 26th 2004.

0600hrs
i was fast alseep...then my grand pa woke me up in a hurry and was yelling 'get up get up the building is about the fall' and i was thinking what the heck is going on....Then i realised it was a mild tremor and everyone feared it will get even worse ....i dressed up in a flash and took my dog down and when everything was over , I looked up the sky and felt glad and better that nothing bad had happened...then all went home, laughing it off....

0900hrs
A friend of mine came over and we started discussing what happened early in the morning and I was explaining what will happen if the world came into an end like in the movie "The day after tommorow" .....jus when I finished telling... my car driver came running and asking us to get outta the house....we all got scared...he was soo scared that he couldnt tell whats happening...we all ran outside again and i could see people running like anything everywhere....then one dumbo on the road told the sea water is coming all over the city like a huge tidal wave...so we quickly locked the house and went far off from the coastal area ( we live like 2 kms away from the beach). We reached a near by city to our relatives house...all were very tired of all the tension we went through...WE TURNED ON THE TV AND FOUND OUT THAT THE WATER HARDLY CAME 1 KM Inside the city.....we felt sorry for the poor souls who lost their lives in this event...we went back home quitely in the evening ...

I cannot forget that day in my life...It was really horrifying...I hope this will not happen in the future ! Well atleast people should be warned before tsunami strikes its anger again on the shores...

 Why do we get bored?

Well today totally no work and sitting before my wonderful television set and started surfing the channels and I kept on changing the channels, there were more repeated programmes and uninteresting ones. I started feeling bored...I prepared myself some hot coffee and laid myself down on the couch. As I was sipping and enjoying the cup 'o' coffee...My mind started wondering on the "grey matter" part of the brain (The portion where memory is stored up in a brain)...I was remembering my school days and those good old college days , etc... Suddenly I stumbled upon a thought....Why am I getting bored, then to escape from boredom....I thought I'll jus blog about boredom itself!...

variety! People need variety! They say, its the spice of life. Boredom its invented by man...I Think boredom is caused by Intelligence, yes you heard me...Intelligence! Creatures which have the power to think. Only when they think what's next...They get bored when they can't figure it out . People who say only man can get bored, but that person is totally wrong.... I can see my dog get bored at times...Like for example, My dog loves to play with tennis balls and so I play with it whenever I find time...When I stop playing in a short while, my dog keeps pestering me to keep throwing the ball...That interests my dog and it is so obvious it gets bored if I stop playing.

The only way out of the "bore" nightmare is to do something interesting...I think we all should learn to be creative...I think by birth itself everybody are creative ....The only thing is that we don't discover our true potential creativity. My point here is that, when we are creative in something...We put our idle brains to work and thus we arrive creating something useful and we get ourselves out of boredom...We should make ourselves to list our own coping strategies that are likely to work for us to fight boredom...

 Series of Unfortunate Events...
Dear readers, I am very upset today....Something bad is happening to me lately...To be exact.. From yesterday afternoon. I came home from work yesterday afternoon, I was very tired and I slept off. When I woke up, My head was aching quite bad and i found myself on the floor near the bed. I was having ice packs on my head for the pain to ease and before night it became alright.

Today I woke up in the morning and was on my way to class and I saw a biker got run over by a bus and I was going late I had to rush...It was pretty bad, don't know what happened to him. Hope he is fine. From class I had gone to office and returned home now ...Well now, the Kitten I was talking about on my previous blog entries, Its missing at home...It has disappeared somewhere and I had been searching for a long time now and I cant find it anywhere...Looked inside home, outside asked everyone and nobody knows where it is...Maybe it just ran away...

Its hard to say goodbye...It was really playful and I had been considering to keep it myself ...Just can't find it anywhere...hope nothing bad has happened to it...well it has been bad all this while for me....very bad time!

 Mother poisoned by School Girl
A 16 year old japanese girl poisoned her mother with some ingredient popularly used in rat poison. She has been arrested after police investigation. They found a plastic bag containing this deadly chemical near her personal computer and she has been maintaining a blog on the progress of the condition of her mother...how sick can people get? Her mother was hospitalized on Oct. 2 after complaining of a decline in her muscular strength and difficulties in breathing and is unconcious till today. She had refered a site on poisonous chemicals and planned to poison her mother for no cause! She is being influenced by some local serial killer who was on the news recently. Maybe she tried on her for just the fun of it...She was a good student in high school and belong to a chemistry club and the principal is greated puzzled by this act of the little girl. She was released from police custody after poisoning herself and she is denying that she poisoned her mother...The police are still investigating on this issue ....Try searching the net for more information on this news....

 Cat Fever!

Hello everyone! Its been a tiring week, getting up early at around 5 to go for my company secretary classes(I am doin a course on company secretary) and after the class is over I'll be goin to my dads office and have do some paper works and I am in the learning stage and some day in the future ill be a big businessman like my dad...Hopefully :) ...And have to come back home and work on my studies till night....Man its hectic ! I EVEN HAVE CLASSES ON SUNDAY ! I don't have timeout at all...Well anyway the classes are only till December....Ok coming back to my topic, its been weird lately, everywhere I turn around there are cats . Well its ok if I see them outside but even inside my house? This is getting too much !

One fine morning I see a tiny Lil cat sitting over my monitor and I got the freak of my life when I noticed it by accident....The pic above shows that the cat is sleeping near my speakers and its a bit messy around there...Ok it is very cute, anyone would want to keep it but the thing is I already own a dog and its quite dangerous to leave both together. So I planned to take it outside and leave it. I took it way far from my place and dropped it near my office, when I came back home after doing some shopping...I learnt it is back before me sitting on my monitor again!
I don't know how the hell it came back or how it found its way back.

My second brother is only 6 years old (he is in first grade) and he loves this cat, he is having some holidays till this month end. So I plan to keep it till my bro has his school reopened. This cat seems to keep him engaged. My bro is usually a pain on neck and keeps bugging me usually during holidays..Can't actually blame him, He doesn't get to play outside mostly cause there are not much kids around my house to play with...

I hope i find this cat a nice new home in someone else's house. Someone should be interested in this cat. I dont't want it to abandon it somewhere on the streets, it might die ...Have to keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best...

Terminator "I might not be back.."
The producers of T3:rise of the machines has joined forces with Warner Bros Tv for another sequel of the movie "Terminator" as a series, titled The Sarah Connor Chronicles...This time its not about Arnie! The series will focus on the robo-warrior sarah connor and her savior son Jhon connor ...This series is about what happened to Sarah connor after the end of "Terminator 2: The judgment day". Since the series is only emphasizing about the connor family, Arnie will not be a regular part of the series, well maybe as a guest star he may make some appearances on few episodes...

 Tom Cruise the next DAREDEVIL???
The ' Mission Impossible' star Tom Cruise has begun prodution for his new movie 'Mission Impossible 3' and in the sets he has been refusing to let his stunt doubles do their job. He is doing his own stunts! Last week it has been heard that he took a 70 foot fall for a stunt. The stunt co-ordinator thinks cruise is pushing himself to the limits and is quite terrified. There has been news the he is going to end his career. Maybe he decided to prove his stunt skills beside his acting skill for his last movie. I cant wait this movie to get released....Hope its not as bad as "MI-2"... The first 'Mission Impossible' movie is one my personal favorites.

 Mobile Fun
Hey people, It was so boring today in office so I thought ill just take a walk near my office building. It has been a rainy day, so the weather was jus perfect not too warm or too cold. Usually summer season during the months of April and may will be horrifyingly humid here in the city of Chennai. The temperature will go up to 44 degree Celsius. Today it was around 28 degrees. While i was taking a walk i found this cute cat on the wall. When I went near to it for a closer look, surprisingly it wasn't scared of me....I had my mobile phone with me (Nokia 3230) which has a 1.2 megapixel cam, I took a shot. Say chess !

 Extinction of Life on Earth
We have seen loads and loads of movies about the extinction of life on earth , have you given a thought that it might be reality? Last night when I was in bed, started thinking about this...so i thought about sharing it with you all... There had been a news early last december about a near earth asteriod might impact on earth around 2036. The asteriod Apophis. It is the name of an egyptian god 'apep'... 'The destroyer'. When i first heard about this from my college mate, I thought it was some sort of a Hoax...later i did some research on the net and found that the discovery of Apophis is true...The possible effects of the impact is not yet figured out.

As of September 2005, the odds of impact on that date is 0.018 percent (1 in 5,560) GOOD NEWS PEOPLE :D! Once it has happened millions of years ago elimitating almost all life on earth...it might happen again...who knows!

 Diwali Lost its charm?

Hello everyone, HAPPY DIWALI !

It is the biggest and the most popular festival among hindus. It is the festival of lights and prosperity! Everyone wearing new clothes and relishing all sorts of sweets all day long and bursting crackers, it is the most enjoyable festival i've ever known.

When i was a kid i remember my family friends and relatives gather up early morning around 4.30 am, worship god then wear new clothes and start bursting crackers and come home and have many sweets and chit chatting with relatives all day long. I also remember non-stop noise of firecrackers during the whole diwali time, I would just wait a whole year for this one festival to come... Now i feel like its losing its charm...no family gatherings, not much of sweets or firecrackers. I find people sitting in front of the tv all day and watching special programs and sleeping most of the time....It has turned out to be the most boring holiday ever! I hardly find people bursting crackers early in the morning! no guests no relatives absolutely nothing! I dont know what has really happened...

Is just me feeling this way? I would never forget those good old days...today i think people have become couch potatoes sitting in front of the tv! I would just love to relive those times ! And i hope it gets back its charm
