The Dark Knight |
|
|
|
Chris Nolan, (thats what I like to call him) has Revealed the audiences and film critics it was possible to pump a comic book generated superhero into reality. At First I thought it was like an Ordeal to go watch a comic-book childhood hero on to the big screen, but when i actually saw in the big screen, I was simply Awestruck! The Dark Knight manages to exceed expectation with a villain so maniacal, his desire for destruction begins to make sense to the point you understand his desire for all out anarchy while you are cheering for the opposition in a war that basically chills down the spine to one side against individual terrorism.
Heath Ledger depicts himself as The Joker in a role that actually would have jump started his career. It is unimaginable it would come to the point that a film based on a comic book character could actually have such an impact on one person. And unfortunately the actor spiralled into his death due to his exhaustion from the shoot of several movies back to back.
The Dark Knight presents a character so destructive and without a care for Mankind in a path of decimation and destrucktion of all kinds that you are left to your own devices. Love him. Hate him. Hate to love him or love to hate him, director Christopher Nolan has guided an actor into a dark realm not often realized. The Joker finds his place alongside villains that go by the name of Hannibal, Scarface and John Doe himself. A nameless, unrecognizable entity you won't be willing to or able to admit is Ledger until the credits roll.
The action scenes are just so great, the 70mm size of the screen is just not enough. Although most of the Action scenes where shot on an "IMAX" camera, It was cleverly remastered and made it fit into the 70mm screen for the non-Imax movie fans like in India
Chistopher Nolan has yet again rolled out a really extra-ordinary Movie from up his sleeve, I just hope He'd Keep me expecting more and more films like the dark knight in the coming years.

|
|
|
Check it out! Its hilarious ! You might have read it somewhere on the net ....jus wanted to share it with everyone :D
Sambhar of 69
Had my first real six rupees, stole it from my father's pants. went to a madrasi hotel, to eat the sambhar of 69. Me and some kadke dost,
had it all and we caught bukhaar, jimy puked, joey got ulcers, and Bagga ne maari dakar.
Oh when I went back there now, the food was as stale as ever, and though it was 1999, still the sambhar was being served over there,
that was the worst food of my life.
Therez no use in complaining, when you got no other place to eat, rushed in the evening to the doctors clinic, but he too was at the toilet seat, yeah
standing there waiting outside, nurse told me I will wait forever, oh and when I held my breath, I knew that I had to use that loo there That was the worst food of my life.
Back to the sambhar of 69.
Man I was getting killed, I was full and restless, I needed to unwind, I guess nothing can wait forever - FOREVER... NO!!!!

Can God Really Communicate Through Dreams? |
|
|
|
Hello everyone! I've been a lil busy lately and I couldn't keep my blog updated frequently. Last night I had a dream which I believe is different from other dreams I usually have. Normally my dreams don't make any sense and by the time I wake up, I tend to forget everything...Today I keep thinking about it over and over again and I just can't stop pondering about it.
In my dream I was looking at the mirror and it obviously reflected my image. And suddenly my clothes seemed to change into a fur of a deer and my hair grew longer, my skin turned blue, my face started to change and the final result was looking exactly the same as the Image shown here. The person I saw was 'Lord Siva'. A god worshiped by the 'Hindus'. They say each god appearing in a dream have different meanings. I told my friend about it and his mom is quite religious, she told me it is a good sign...Something good might happen in the near future. I believe he appeared before me to prove something. He also posed his hand and light started to glow more and more intense from his palm as in the image which means he is blessing.
A week back, my friend and I had a heated conversation about the existence of god. I told him that if god really existed, god should be seen by someone and all the forms of god is just imaginary...He told me not to tell like that and told me god is everywhere....It was quite a big conversation and I left unsatisfied that I couldn't make him understand my point of view. To be honest I didn't believe in the existence of god, but from last night I am confused.
I don't think I got the dream because of this conversation. Why did my reflect turn into lord Shiva? I never had thought about this form of god as far as I remember. Is he trying to tell that he exists inside us? Is he trying to prove me wrong? Or is it just a co-incidence?
Here is something about lord shiva:
Shiva is the third deity of the Hindu triad of great gods, the others being Brahma and Vishnu. Shiva is often referred to as the Destroyer, but it might be better to think of him as the God of Transformation, since he is often associated with creation that comes out of destruction. But Shiva has different aspects that appear at different times. He is often depicted as the destroyer, and will appear as a naked ascetic accompanied by demons, encircled with serpents and necklaces of skulls. Sometimes Shiva wanders into crematoriums, smears his body with ash and dances in the light of the funeral pyres, reminding all about the transitory nature of material things.
